Give Help

There are many ways for everyone to pitch in and make a difference during this Coronavirus pandemic. We invite you to browse through these Grace initiatives and decide how you can help. Whether it’s words of thanks, firing up your sewing machine, or donating funds, your contribution will be a blessing to the receiver.

Make a Thank-You Card for an Essential Worker

The essential workers at grocery stores, pharmacies, and hospitals are working countless hours and putting themselves at risk every day to help meet our needs. In return, we would like to encourage them in the form of thank-you cards.

To make a thank-you card, all you need is some paper or a card and something to write with. You can write one or 50. You can get the whole family in on it, just be sure that the note says “thank you.” You will not address the cards to specific workers, so they can be generic.

Once you have completed thank-you cards, please drop them off in the designated bucket at the main entrance of the church, between 10AM and 4PM, M-F or at the Information tent at the Sunday outdoor service.

Questions? Contact Jen Eckenwiler at jeckenwiler@gracewired.com.

Sew Facemasks for Hospitals and Those at High-Risk

Covenenat Community Care has a need for face masks and has asked us if we can provide some. If you are a sewer, experienced or beginner, you can join us in sewing some for distribution to CCC and others who need one.

Making a mask requires a needle, thread, fabric, and buttons/elastic/ribbon, depending on which pattern you use. Here are a couple pattern examples:

Donate to our Benevolent Fund to Help Those in Need

Many within our Grace family are living with little to no income at this time. If you are able to make a tax-deductible donation to our Benevolent Fund for a Grace family in need, this will help cover some of their expenses. We are using a vetting system to ensure funds are dispersed within our guidelines to the recipients. Thank you for your generosity.
