Marrieds

The essence of marriage is that it is a covenant—a promise of lifetime love and faithfulness to your spouse. God designed this wondrous union between a man and woman to be a reflection and expression of His covenant of love with us.

Whether you are engaged, newly married, or celebrating decades together, whether your marriage is healthy or has gotten off course, at Grace, we have offerings in place to help you grow in a relationship that honors God and one another.

Marriage Mentoring

At Grace, we believe that meeting regularly with a mentor couple can make all the difference in building and sustaining a strong, lifelong marriage. And we truly mean this is for every couple—whether you’re newly married, navigating empty-nest life, walking through grief or crisis, or simply hoping to strengthen an already healthy marriage.

Marriage Mentoring is all about inviting an honest, more experienced couple to walk alongside you—people who have weathered the ups and downs of married life and learned how to thrive together. Our seasoned mentor couples are ready to invest relationally, encourage you, and help you navigate the journey of marriage with hope and confidence.

Premarital Process

Congratulations on your engagement!

We believe that God’s heart is to be the center of your marriage. If each of you makes your relationship with God your first priority, you will build a marriage that you will enjoy and that will weather the storms that roll in.

The focus of our Premarital Process is to help your marriage get a strong start. We will walk alongside you to help you develop a marriage that honors God – a marriage of covenant love where you encourage one another to live into who God created you to be.

Who Should Be Baptized

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, placing your faith in His death and resurrection as the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin, then you are ready to be baptized! Your baptism is an opportunity to show others that you now belong to Jesus and are committed to walking with Him always.

Baptism symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of salvation:

  • Accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  • Shared in His death, burial, and resurrection, illustrated by going under the water (dead to your old life), then rising again (new life).

Questions? Contact Tracey Krusz at tkrusz@gracewired.com or call 313.936.1501.

Here at Grace, we understand Scripture to teach that only professing believers who understand the gospel and have committed to a life of following Christ are eligible for baptism. For infants and young children, we practice Parent/Child Dedication. For information about Parent/Child Dedication, email La Kesia Patton, or call 313.936.1511.
