Who We Are

WE ARE A MOSAIC STRIVING TO LIVE LIKE JESUS.

We celebrate a unique diversity at Grace Community Church. Our city is broken in many ways–people are divided by race, economics, life experiences and heritage. At Grace, our desire is to take these fragments of brokenness and bring them together to form a beautiful mosaic where we can find unity through Jesus. We welcome people from all stages and walks of life, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey.

Who Should Be Baptized

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, placing your faith in His death and resurrection as the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin, then you are ready to be baptized! Your baptism is an opportunity to show others that you now belong to Jesus and are committed to walking with Him always.

Baptism symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of salvation:

  • Accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  • Shared in His death, burial, and resurrection, illustrated by going under the water (dead to your old life), then rising again (new life).

Questions? Contact Tracey Krusz at tkrusz@gracewired.com or call 313.936.1501.

Here at Grace, we understand Scripture to teach that only professing believers who understand the gospel and have committed to a life of following Christ are eligible for baptism. For infants and young children, we practice Parent/Child Dedication. For information about Parent/Child Dedication, email La Kesia Patton, or call 313.936.1511.
