  • He and Deanna have been married for 17 years and have three kids: Silas, Andrew, and Charlotte.
  • Enjoys following the Detroit sports teams, especially the Red Wings, and enjoys seeing them play downtown in the dead of winter
  • In his downtime, he likes to read (always with coffee), spend time with his family, or stay active by running, golfing, coaching any of his kids’ sports teams, and looking for reasons to be outdoors
  • Will tell you, “Variety is the spice of life”

Nathan is currently studying for his M. Div (Master of Divinity) at Kairos University and hopes his seminary work will positively impact his ministry at Grace. He has a passion for discipleship and is fully committed to Jesus’ call to “make disciples” (Matt. 28:19). Nathan also desires for every follower of Jesus to experience the fullness and power of God through the Holy Spirit. He does this by leading adult discipleship opportunities through groups, classes, events, and prayer ministries at Grace.

Who Should Be Baptized

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, placing your faith in His death and resurrection as the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin, then you are ready to be baptized! Your baptism is an opportunity to show others that you now belong to Jesus and are committed to walking with Him always.

Baptism symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of salvation:

  • Accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  • Shared in His death, burial, and resurrection, illustrated by going under the water (dead to your old life), then rising again (new life).
