  • Proudly served her country as a member of the United States Navy Reserves (USN)
  • Known as The Travelling Diva on social media, where she shows off her love for people and immersive travel, learning the language, customs, and historical facts of the countries she travels to
  • While at home, she’s tending to her in-home garden and spending time with her Alaskan Husky, Mr. Niko.
  • Happily serves as District Committee Chair (Renaissance District) for the Michigan Crossroads Council, Scouting America

Twenty years ago, Linda was introduced to Grace Community Church through her late husband, Eugene. She started serving on the First Impressions Team and then later as a storyteller for GraceKids. Now, her role as Curriculum Coordinator allows her to share the love of Jesus with kids, Infants-Grade 3, in Children’s Ministry.

Who Should Be Baptized

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, placing your faith in His death and resurrection as the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin, then you are ready to be baptized! Your baptism is an opportunity to show others that you now belong to Jesus and are committed to walking with Him always.

Baptism symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of salvation:

  • Accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  • Shared in His death, burial, and resurrection, illustrated by going under the water (dead to your old life), then rising again (new life).

Here at Grace, we understand Scripture to teach that only professing believers who understand the gospel and have committed to a life of following Christ are eligible for baptism.
