  • Kevin and his wonderful family transitioned to Detroit, MI, in 2019 from Oklahoma City, OK, because of a call on their lives from God
  • Kevin and his wife Kayla have five lovely children: Kenydee, Khaia, Kayden, Kace, & Kameron.

Kevin leads our Youth Ministry as the faithful youth pastor, leading students and leaders in a journey of owning their own faith. In the fall, Kevin will be transitioning from our Youth Pastor to focus on planting “Still Standing Church” in Detroit.

Who Should Be Baptized

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, placing your faith in His death and resurrection as the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin, then you are ready to be baptized! Your baptism is an opportunity to show others that you now belong to Jesus and are committed to walking with Him always.

Baptism symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of salvation:

  • Accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  • Shared in His death, burial, and resurrection, illustrated by going under the water (dead to your old life), then rising again (new life).

Here at Grace, we understand Scripture to teach that only professing believers who understand the gospel and have committed to a life of following Christ are eligible for baptism.
